Limited Warranty Policy

 

Coverage Overview

This Limited Warranty is provided by Teds Electronics (“we,” “us,” or “our”) for products purchased and used within the United States. This warranty applies only to the specific product (“Product”) identified at the time of purchase and is valid solely for the original end-user purchaser, or the individual for whom the Product was purchased as a gift.

Warranty Period

We warrant that the Product, when delivered in new condition and in its original packaging, will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase, unless otherwise stated on the product page.

What We Will Do

If a Product is returned to an authorized service facility and is determined to be defective during the warranty period, we will, at our sole discretion and at no charge:

  • Repair the Product using new, repaired, remanufactured, or recycled parts; or
  • Replace the Product with a new or refurbished unit of equal or greater value.

Any repaired or replaced Product will continue to be covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period. Replacement or exchange does not extend or restart the warranty term.

What Is Not Covered

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

  • Accessories, including but not limited to batteries, cables, chargers, cases, or mounts
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, improper installation, improper packaging, or unauthorized repairs
  • Damage resulting from liquid exposure, corrosion, sand, dust, battery leakage, dropping, scratches, abrasions, or impact
  • Damage caused by electrical power fluctuations or environmental conditions outside recommended operating ranges
  • Use of non-original or incompatible parts, accessories, software, or supplies
  • Products with altered, defaced, or removed serial numbers
  • Normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality
Third-Party Products & Software

Any non-original brand equipment or software that may be distributed with the Product is provided “as is” and without warranty of any kind. Any warranty applicable to such items is provided solely by the manufacturer or seller of those products.

Limitations of Warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

No implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, apply after the expiration of this Limited Warranty.

We are not responsible for loss of revenue or profits, loss of data, loss of use, inconvenience, or any incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Product.

Our total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the Product.

Some states or provinces do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so certain limitations may not apply to you.

Transferability

This Limited Warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the Product or the recipient of the Product if purchased as a gift. It is not transferable.
